The reason for this one? Increased risk of cancer if taken in large amounts.
"Another pharmaceutical company is recalling a blood pressure medication [Quinapril Tablets] that could increase the risk of cancer if taken in large amounts"
Drugs alone have averaged 1279 recalls per year since 2012. The continued frequency of FDA recalls has sparked both skepticism and scrutiny form the public. If you are interested, I've included a link, you may be interested to know how many dangerous drugs the FDA has approved for consumers and later learned to have caused serious injury or even death. This is not even the first time this year for the recall on this particular drug Quinapril.
Nevermind the 15 other carcinogenic blood pressure meds Canada pulled earlier this year.
This is in stark contrast to homeopathic medicines. Not only have have homeopathic remedies never caused a death, there’s never been a remedy pulled from the market.
Homeopathy is considered to be an effective treatment of high blood pressure. The treatment is tailor-made to your needs as it takes into consideration your external and internal environments. This is because the experiences that you may have and the characteristics of the disease that you display are not the same as the other affected person. It works by viewing your disease as a disturbance that affects your entire body and not just a specific body part.
"Normal range" is not the same for all people. Only in the the developed nations such as Canada, the US, and European countries where most of populations are covered by insurance and have ready access to medical facilities is there an established "normal range". Patients get their blood pressure checked whether they need to or not, and the treatments delivered (BP drugs) leads to a multitude of problems.
A friend of mine had a heart attack, after which she was put on the standard protocol of drugs which of course, included a blood pressure medication. When she asked the admin at that particular office what the "normal range" for blood pressure should be, the woman responded;
"Well that depends on which office you go to. At this one we say it's such and such."
Wait. What?! My friend was totally baffled. What do you mean, "depends on which office you go to"?! So if I go to the office down the street I may not be offered blood pressure meds because my numbers are normal for them but those same numbers may not be normal here, so I'll be given a drug?
Not only that but are these prescribing doctors checking on their patients and carefully monitoring whether their patients need to still be even taking these drugs?
Another client of mine came to me with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic immune system disease.
With this disease, a type of white blood cell, called an eosinophil, builds up in the lining of the tube that connects your mouth to your stomach. This tube is also called the esophagus. This buildup, which is a reaction to foods, allergens or acid reflux, can inflame or injure the esophageal tissue. Damaged esophageal tissue can lead to difficulty swallowing or cause food to get stuck when you swallow. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/eosinophilic-esophagitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20372197
This client had been taking a blood pressure medication for years because he had high blood pressure while he was going through a divorce. His doctor put him on a drug and never bothered to monitor whether my client needed it any longer, because of course you stay on those for life! Once high blood pressure, always high blood pressure.
I asked my client if he still had high blood pressure and of course he did not. I then informed him that one of the side effects of this particular medication is EoE. Without informing me or his doctor he immediately stopped taking the drug (which I DO NOT recommend without the help of the prescribing doctor) and he began the homeopathic remedies. After two months he was completely cured. He no longer needs the remedies but still has them if the symptoms of EoE ever return.
These examples are just more reasons why we need to become as autonomous as possible, when it comes to our health. No one will care as much as we do about the health and well-being of our families. Do your research. There is no excuse nowadays not to know about drugs and their potential side effects. There is a time and a place for medications, but I personally try to avoid them as much as possible. Why?
Because there is another way.
