Eggs are one of my most favourite foods, and my favourite way to prepare them is simple. I heat up my cast iron skillet to medium, add a tablespoon of butter to the pan and when that is slightly browned I add in my eggs, preferably duck, but chicken will be equally delicious. I flip them once and then allow them to sizzle a bit on the other side, not too much because I enjoy my yokes runny.
According to some "health experts" this is pure poison and I should be dead before I'm enjoying retirement because my arteries will clog, and if I don't get myself on a statin, I'll die of a heart attack before I see my first grandchild.
This article is a great example of "misinformation" concerning cholesterol, but it's also a bit confusing as to which side of the egg they are on...
Is It Safe To Eat Eggs Every Day?

It's difficult, no, impossible to find clear studies that can prove lowering cholesterol will make a difference in decreasing heart disease, because they don't exist. There are no clear studies. However, we can find multiple articles discussing the dangerous side-effects that cholesterol lowering drugs like statins can have on the body.
The most common complaint associated with statins, according to the American College of Cardiology, is myopathy, a muscle disorder, which may occur in up to a third of statin users. Statin-induced myopathy brings on muscle-related symptoms that didn’t exist prior to when you started taking a statin. Symptoms tend to start soon after you begin statin therapy.
The disorder may include any or all of the following symptoms: ✍🏼

cramping
tendon problems
fatigue
